PSS acquire new Pipe Bursting Rig
We are pleased to announce that we have just purchased a new R2 Pipe Bursting Machine from Roddie inc.
Pipe bursting is a method of replacing damaged or broken underground pipe, and is a trenchless solution so saves both time and money.
“Sliding apart into two components with the pull of two pins, the R2 is the lightest lateral bursting system on the market. This allows it to be easily set up in confined spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, man holes, and septic tanks. Although the R2 is lightweight and is set up entirely by hand, it is still capable of producing 30 tons of pulling force, at 2,800 psi, thanks to its hydraulic system – a system which can be powered from any mini excavator, Bobcat or a Hydraulic power pack.” – www.roddieunderground.com
