You may have seen some photos of our team working around the River Chelmer on an important task and wondering what has been going on. 

We have been pressure testing existing pipework. To carry out this procedure, the pressure main needs to be filled with clean water for accurate testing. Rest assured, the water used for this process is groundwater and not harmful to the environment and is fully compliant with all environmental legislation and poses no harm to the river, local wildlife or communities.
